Got the new Apple Keyboard! August 24th, 2007

Yeah! I’ve got one of these. I couldn’t comfortably use my laptop keyboard anymore as it burns my whistle when it’s hot, and as I couldn’t be really in front of my big flat screen. I choose an english layout as I’m now used to type on QWERTY keyboards, which are definitely the best to code.

It’s very sweet. Elegant and incredibly thin. Typing on it is very pleasing if you like to type on a laptop keyboard, although it needs some adaptation as there’s more space between each keys than my mybook pro.

Once plugged, the software installer asked me to download an update which required the machine to restart.

Oh yeah, and they changed the “Apple” key by a “Cmd” one, which is a bit disturbing, too. Well, time to do some work now :)
